Lake 69 is one of the most beautiful turquoise glacial lakes in the cordillera Blanca. During the tour you will see also the Llanganuco's lake (Chinancocha and Orconcocha) excellent view to the mountains Chacraraju (6112m), Pisco (5752m) and Yanapacha (5460m) Huascaran (6769m) Beautiful Quenual forest and impressive glacial waterfalls.

ITINERARY

Our bus picks you up from your hotel in Huaraz in the early morning 5:00 a.m. and transfers you by the callejon the huaylas passing Carhuas and Yungay city then keep driving up hill till the village call Humachuco for breakfast then 20 more minutes you get to the National Park Huascaran Office to pay and register. After 03 Hrs. driving from Huaraz you get to Cebollapampa (3900m).where the hike starts 5-6 hrs. Hiking round trip. Its easy moderate Hike the first Hour flat then uphill by zic zac for 45 minutes where you will get a great view to the mountains and the Valley llanganuco, the last piece it’s a bit hard 10 t0 15 minutes. Then you can enjoy as much you want at the lake before starting descending by the same trail. It’s a full day trip you will be back to Huaraz around 6:00 pm.
