SERVICE DESCRIPTION
DON’T INCLUDE:
After breakfast in Huaraz, embark on a 2-hour drive to the village of Pashpa (3,700m) in the Ishinca Valley. Begin a 4–5 hour hike through lush queñua forests and rocky trails, passing waterfalls and streams, to reach Base Camp (4,350m). Set up camp, enjoy lunch, and rest while soaking in views of Tocllaraju, Ranrapalca, and Ishinca peaks. Evening briefing on the climb and gear check.
Depart after breakfast for a steep 4–5 hour ascent over moraines and glacial terrain to Moraine Camp (4,900m). Practice essential glacier skills (crampons, rope techniques) and prepare for the summit push. Enjoy an early dinner and rest under a star-lit sky, surrounded by towering peaks of the Cordillera Blanca.
Begin the summit attempt at 2:00 AM with a light breakfast. Traverse the glacier, navigating moderate slopes (35°–40°) and crevasses during the 5–6 hour ascent. Reach the summit (5,530m) at sunrise for breathtaking views of Huascarán, Ranrapalca, and the Ishinca Valley. Descend to Moraine Camp (3–4 hours), pack gear, and hike back to Pashpa. Private transport returns you to Huaraz by 6:00 PM, concluding the expedition.
